PSX/ES1008 Models

Segment Application

For large networks with large data packets that are constantly processed, the 1008

switch is suitable for connection to the LAN backbone. The 1008 switch can be

directly connected to PCs, workstations, and servers. The switch automatically

learns node addresses, which are subsequently used to filter and forward all traffic

based on the destination address. You can use any of the copper ports to connect

with another switch to interconnect each of your small-switched workgroups to form a

larger switched network.
